Reports in the North-East claim that former Town manager Bobby Robson is set to receive a well-deserved knighthood in the Queen's Birthday Honours which will be announced this weekend.

The statue of Bobby Robson will be unveiled to the public at a ceremony on Tuesday 16th July. The new statue is the work of Coach (also known as Sean Hedges-Quinn), the man responsible for the statue of Sir Alf Ramsey.
